Senator Manny Pacquiao recently became the talk of the town of the Forbes Park residents in Makati City because of the long queues in front of his mansion. This happened morning, December 11.
According to one of the resident’s story, these people are hoping to receive Christmas gifts from “Pambansang Kamao.”
One of them told the resident that Pacquiao was giving away cash gifts worth 3 million in total. And because the news spread quickly to others, Pacquiao’s house was immediately filled with housemates, drivers, and security guards who are hoping to receive such Christmas gifts.
Reportedly, these long lines of hopeful people were here for three days in a row and it always starts at 3 o’clock in the morning. The Forbes Park’s residents, on the other hand, said that they admire Pacquiao’s generosity and his big heart to those in need.
Earlier this year, the boxer-turned-politician previously made headlines similar to this act. Based on a viral Facebook video taken from Jen Manilay from General Santos City, Pacquiao gave the ice cream vendor named Manong Marciano his money, a house and lot, plus a job.
According to the uploader, Pacquiao first gave Manong Marciano P3,000. But when he found out about his plight, Pacquiao gave him another P30,000. He also provided him a house and lot upon knowing that Manong Marciano was only renting his humble abode.
