Netizens has had enough once again. A Facebook page, Pepe Bumangon Ka, posted a video of a driver who got furious at a buko vendor. Apparently, the buko cart hit the driver’s car and he was expecting the buko vendor to pay for the damages.
The video lasted for 30 seconds. In the video, you would see the driver hitting the man’s stuff inside his cart, it included him throwing his buko away. At the end of the video, the man also grabbed the buko vendor’s shirt and started to threaten him.
Many netizens who have seen the video reacted negatively towards the driver. It was a natural reaction for someone who only took the contents of the video into consideration. However, there was one comment that said that we shouldn’t judge a person based on a one-sided story.
Granted that the driver was aggressive towards the buko vendor. But what do we actually know about what happened? People who have cars would understand how it feels when their vehicle gets hit by another car or in this case, a buko cart. People who have cars know how to value and take care of their vehicles so much that it can get frustrating when someone hits them accidentally.
Question is, are we even sure the car was his? It can be a possible factor that it was a borrowed car which would explain his aggressive behavior. It’s not an excuse, and it’s still wasn’t right. It just gives you an idea from the driver’s perspective.
Many were appalled towards the driver, but how can we really comment on something based on a 30 second video? Is it enough to say that the driver was the only one who was at fault?
