There are only two media giants in the Philippines recognized by many Filipinos. These network giants always battle who will be the number one in the televisions of Filipino avid viewers. They do everything and try to apply the best strategy to remain number one. These conglomerates transcend into different media as well. They can be seen in magazines for the print media, radio stations, TV of course and now, social media. GMA and ABS-CBN continue to monopolize the media industry.

So how are thee Filipino fans taking this? This is not surprising that Filipinos are divided into which TV network are they going to support to. It is also not surprising that these Filipino viewers are very loyal to their TV networks. If they are Kapuso, their children and the next generations will be Kapuso. The same goes with the Kapamilya fans. Seldomly it happens that the head of the household is a Kapamilya and the rest of the family is Kapuso. This is very unsual.

And because of this, network wars are prevalent. There are celebrities jumping from one station to another. There are celebrities whose whole family is in their mother network. And given this culture in our own showbiz industry, it is very unusual for a network’s key star to appear on the rival network.

But of course, there are celebrities who play it Sports. One of these celebrities is veteran comedian Vic Sotto. Vic Sotto, who is known to be a Kapuso ever since made his fans happy when he collaborated with the Kapamilya key star, Coco Martin in a movie set to be an entry in the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) this 2018.

Their movie is entitled “Jak Em Popoy, The Pulis Incredibles,”. Maine Mendoza is set to join them.

And with the given culture in the showbiz industry, it is a puzzle for everyone if Vic and Coco will ever appear on each other’s show in the rival networks.

When asked if Coco will appear in “Eat Bulaga” to promote, Vic answered, “Palagay ko naman (posible),”
