It’s no secret that some celebrities in the industry are fond of roasting each other. Sometimes, we can see stars from both networks as they make fun of one another. This only shows that even though they came from different networks, they can still bond with their friends. Like what Willie Revillame did during the birthday of veteran director, Edgar Mortiz.
During his birthday celebration, Willie became the host of the event. The “Wowowin” star can’t help but throw jokes at his co-stars who attended the party.
After giving his short but sweet message, Willie joked around his friends such as Tirso Cruz III and Ogie Alcasid who are both Kapamilya artists. He even jested that GMA pays him more compared to his previous networks ABS-CBN and TV5.
Willie also took the chance to tease “It’s Showtime” hosts, Vhong Navarro and Jhong Hilario, who were present at the event. He joked how the hosts were “mayabang” on their noontime show but were quiet on the director’s party.
Despite his straightforward personality, Willie has been loved by his fans for his generosity. In his show, the host never fails to give thousands of pesos to people who are in need. The singer is also known to sponsor several kids’ education.
Because of this, many were asking if he the host has plans to run for a government position. In his recent interviews, Willie clarified that he still has no plans to run for the midterm election in 2019. He even stressed that many personalities have been pushing him to run but he still has considerations to make.
